NEWSFLASH: This just came in. A Batangas City TDRO staff was injured after his motorcycle was hit by a passenger bus in front of RD Dimacuha's Public Terminal in the middle of the Diversion Road.
By law, public terminals are not supposed to be placed near a busy highway to protect commuters. You can't put a public terminal near a busy highway and expect people to cross the dangerous road.
But since the public terminal is adjacent to the Dimacuha's 5-hectare property, and the political dynasty will profit a lot from the development of that area in the middle of nowhere, they want all traffic rerouted to go there.
And the lives of the people endangered? Well, RD has just to shrug his shoulders and say: "Tatanga-tanga kasi, alam nang highway, tumawid pa!'
Sino kaya ang tanga? Yung nagpilit maglagay ng public terminal sa mismong diversion road, o yung mga taong napipilitan lang magpunta dun dahil sa traffic rerouting na palpak?
And this time, a TDRO staff, from the office that was supposed to implement the rerouting was injured.
Karma? Or a dose of their own medicine...
