If you’re sick in a hospital, and received a funeral wreath from Batangas City Mayor Vilma Abaya-Dimacuha (VAD), one thing's for sure: you’re gonna die soon!
ALPS Bus patriarch Mathew Perez was still alive in a hospital in Batangas City when he received VAD’s flowers for the dead.
The entire Perez family was shocked. They never thought that the mayor would send a funeral wreath to Mathew who was very much alive by then.
Sad, bewildered, angry, and hurt, three days later, Mathew really died.
In the mayor’s office, RD Dimacuha made all the people there promise not to tell anybody about the funeral wreath. The mistake of sending a funeral wreath to a still alive businessman was considered a major major mistake of the year. And RD doesn't want to look stupid.
Kaya may memo: Nobody should talk about the stupid flowers for the dead till death!!!
